Sea of Galilee & Golan Heights “Jewish Heritage and early Christianity” DAY TRIP
This trip will take us to the North of Israel. Our day will start with a visit at Magdala where recent excavations have surprised the Christian and Jewish World. The discovery of a first century synagogue in which center stoof the famous Magdala stone. Was this the synagogue where Jesus prayed?
We will also have a chance to enjoy an unforgettable view of the Sea of Galilee. At Kibbuz Ginossar we will visit a 2000 year old fishermen boot. In the afternoon we will drive along the Golan Heights. At Mount Bental we will get a glimpse over the Syrian border and get some insight to the geopolitical challenges of the area.
